I appreciate getting cash for buying something I would get anyway... However, I "referred a friend" and the $30 reward showed up in my account for one day, and then it was taken away without explanation!! I tried to reach out to customer service - but despite explaining the situation multiple times on multiple customer service platforms; I received no assistance. Totally disappointing and lame.

Rakuten has gone down the drain and has become quite literally, mostly a waste of one's precious time. Continually in the middle of shopping trips I am kicked out and given an "access denied error. Extremely aggravating, especially for tedious shopping trips. It happens ALL THE TIME the past few months. Or when it finally it does let you back in, the check out button doesn't work. What a joke. I'm now to the point where if it happens one or two more times I'm going to be done for good.

Watch your account closely or you will be ripped off (things remain pending, purchases don't show up). So far everything has been resolved, but if I wasn't watching it daily it would be my loss. I miss the customer support they used to have. Also, this app is like trudging through wet sand, while all the other apps whizz by. Very slow and glitchy.
